Denim Decoded: Escape the Fashion Trap!

April 10 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Someone has kidnapped JP — a brilliant fashion designer on the verge of releasing the perfect pair of jeans. The only way to find them? Follow the trail through the denim supply chain and uncover the hidden truths behind the clothes we wear.
In this 90-minute immersive escape room-inspired workshop, participants become fashion detectives, racing against the clock to solve puzzles and uncover clues at each stage of the denim journey — from cotton farms and dye houses to factories and retail floors.
Along the way, each station reveals a different layer of the fashion industry’s lesser-known realities:
- How are your jeans made?
- What are the environmental and social costs behind them?
As the mystery deepens, participants begin to piece together the impact of different production choices — ultimately revealing the story behind fast fashion vs. sustainable fashion.
What You’ll Learn
- The stages of the denim supply chain
- The environmental and social impact of fashion production
- Systems thinking and collaborative problem-solving
Whether you’re a student, educator, or industry professional, this workshop combines storytelling, sustainability, and design thinking to spark critical thinking and real-world action.
Yes, we do learning journeys!
